I have had problems with this on 5.2.1 using virtual volumes. If I disable
sessions on server A, then server B cannot run a database backup to virtual
volumes defined on server A, unless I first enable it. Once the backup
starts, I can then disable it again.
I probably mis-spoke when I used the phrase "server-to-server". It may
only be a problem with virtual volumes.
