Hi Joni!
Sorry, I can't help you with that one. It has been 10 years since we ran
ADSM 2.1 on MVS, so I have no experience with z/OS.

Hi Eric,

Thank you so much! It has drastically improved performance! I was just
wondering if you would happen to know about the show memu S command and if
MaxQuickFree is supposed to be greater than Freeheld bytes? I know there's
a set command to increase the maxquickfree bytes, but I couldn't find any
documentation on it... Thanks again!

MAX initial storage 536870912 (512.0 MB)
    Freeheld bytes 17377241 (16.6 MB)
    MaxQuickFree bytes 10737418 (10.2 MB)
    0 Page buffers of 13107 : 65 buffers of 1638.
    10 Large buffers of 819 : 61 XLarge buffers of 102.

Hi Joni!
I noticed that your database is quite large (more than 100 Gb.) and you are
running with a very small database buffer. I would expect an ever lower
cache hit pct! You should use the setopt command to raise your bufpoolsize.
It's now 135 Mb, I would at least double it.
