I was not involved in the development of the Admin Center, so I am not the
final authority on the subject. Having said that, my understanding of the
Admin Center is that the wizards used for some tasks -- creating nodes or
storage pools, for two examples -- are not intended to provide a
comprehensive set of all available options for that task; rather, they are
intended to guide you through the most basic (or essential) facets of the
task at hand. If you take a look at the REGISTER NODE syntax, you will see
that there are a LOT of options that are not presented in the wizard. For
another example, the DEFINE STGPOOL command contains a lot of options that
are not present in the create storage pool wizard. The properties
notebooks, which afford access to the more advanced (*) options, can be
used to modify the object after it is created. For the specific question
at hand, the answer is to delete the administrator (if you don't want it)
after creating the node; or to use the CLI, as you've already mentioned.

(*) Of course, we may differ on what is "basic" or "advanced". :-)

Andy

The only dumb question is the one that goes unasked.
The command line is your friend.
"Good enough" is the enemy of excellence.
