We have all sql server services open under the security context of a service
account that has domain admin rights. The adsm service can still run as a
localsystem account and the databases backup without problem.

Subject: Permissions on SQL TDP
Our Windoze guys, after years of battling over who should have local
administrator privileges, find that they have to give those rights to the
DBAs in order to run the TDP agent. Has anybody come up with a way around
this?
