LANFree Oracle TDP with shared memory

We are having issues with TDP using TCP/IP to
communicate with the Storage Agent. It has
been suggested to switch to shared memory.

Does anyone have experience and any recommendations
or "gotchas" using shared memory instead of TCP/IP?
