We use it here to share 1 ADIC S10K tape library across 3 TSM server
images. We setup a 4th TSM server to be just the shared library manager -
it does nothing else. This has served us well. It's much easier to move
or restart the shared library manager if it has nothing else on it (e.g.,
no nodes). All of the storage and config files for the TSM servers are on
SAN-attached disk, and can therefore easily be moved to new hardware
servers if/when needed.

each TSM box , but robot is being shared by both TSM Servers

We are looking at setting up Library Sharing between both Backup
Servers. While it sounds great, the downside we are struggling with is
that if the TSM server that is the Library "Master" so to speak is not
available then the other TSM server sharing the library can not access the
library.

Is anyone else using library sharing? If so what are your experiences...

Thanks a Bunch!
