The chapter I pointed you to the other day includes information on
restoring the TSM server. My recommendation would be to:

1) Read the chapter I mentioned. Section "Recovering Your Server Using
Database and Storage Pool Backups" covers the restore scenario, but the
entire chapter is worth reading to understand your options for protecting
the server as well.

2) Attempt the restore per the info in the book.

3) If you continue to have trouble, post the *exact* steps you took, as
well as the results that demonstrate the problem you are having. That will
give list members a lot more info to help you with.
