TSM.PWD issue
2004-11-02 08:53:36
Hello All!
I am receiving the error:
ANS1503E Valid password not available for server 'TSMDEV'.
The administrator for your system must run TSM and enter the password
to store it locally.
I have multiple TSM servers defined within the dsm.sys and dsm.opt
files for a Solaris Client at the 5.2.2.5 level. I have looked
through previous issues and the recommendation is to run a dsmc
command from the client server when logged in as root. Will this
clear up the password issue even though I want it directed to a
different TSM server? It is defined on all of the TSM servers with
the same password, so I'm a little confused as to why it is still
communicating with the other servers and not this new TSM server that
was just defined?
Thanks in advance for your help!
