Sure,

Set up library sharing on the new machine and lest the old machine be a client.

Its all in the Admin Guide.

I have on the old machine SSA Disks and on the new machine I have ESS disks
over SAN! It is impossible to migrate VG from one machine to another! I am
wondering is it possible to ran two servers in the same time to share same
library. I have 3584 library with six LTO 3584 drives!

Thanks

Depends on your disk

-we installed base TSM on a new machine
- brought over the config files
- moved the SSA disk holding the storage pools and DB
- and came up

Hi,

please does anyone have step-by-step procedure for moving TSM from one
machine to another. I am planning to move TSM to faster machine and I
would
be thankful if someone can help me!
Platforms are:
Source machine> AIX 5.1 TSM 5.1.8.0
Destination machine> AIX 5.2 TSM 5.2.2.0

Best regards
