Problem with a TDP backup of a 200gb+ SQL database
SQLserver2000 running on Windows NT
TSM Client 4.2.2.8
TDP 2.2.1
We run a transaction log backup every 4 hours, which works fine
We run a daily DiffFull backup, which also works fine
The weekly FULL backup produces these error messages:
ACO5059W The C:\TSM\Logs\TdpFull.log log file cannot be opened for writing.
There will be no logging of events.
ACO5422E Received the following from the MS SQL server:
Message text not available. HRESULT:0x800455f3
I have researched this on these pages and the feeling is that i have an
authentication error. On the NT server, the same NT Scheduled Service is
used to backup the transaction logs, difffull and full backups. As the
backups for transaction and difffull are ok, i guess it is'nt the account
named in the scheduled service. This account has full admin authorities.
Any thoughts?
