If we are talking about SQL 2000;
Go to Enterprise manager; expand tree sql server group; server name; databases;
database name. Right click and go to properties for database. In Options tab
you will see recovery model. Change it to full.
While you are there click on help and search for "Transaction log backup".

As Richard S. says; you have to go back to the books.
Check "TDP for Microsoft SQL Server Installation and User's guide" pdf
manual that comes with the Installation CD. Appendix C tells you how to
setup TDP using Central Scheduler.
If you are doing log backup remember to change SQL recovery mode from
simple to full; and TEST IT, TEST IT, TEST IT!!!!
Good luck!!!
