Eric,

I too would to like a similar script.

In the mean time I run a admin. scheduled task( mainly to cancel
offsitetape reclamation) at 5.00 hrs. in the morning.

SCHEDULE  KILL_COPYTAPEPOOL_RECL  TYPE=ADMIN CMD="cancel
                          process 31" ACTIVE=YES PRIORITY=5
STARTDATE=09/16/2004
                          STARTTIME=05:00:00 DURATION=15 DURUNITS=MINUTES

                          PERUNITS=ONETIME DAYOFWEEK=ANY
EXPIRATION=09/16/2004

I start a reclamation and before I go home I update the schedule: 'CMD'
with the process I want to cancel,
'STARTDATE'  and 'EXPIRATION'

Hi *SM-ers!
I'm trying to create a script which does the following:
1) query the server for any running reclamation
2) retrieves the process id for this reclamation
3) cancels the reclamation
4) starts a backup storage pool
Can this be done in one script? If so, how do I put the process id in a
variable which I can parse to the cancel command?
Thank you very much for any reply in advance!!
Kindest regards,
