GUI Backup OK - Scheduled not OK

Hi,
I am struggling to find a solution to the following problem.
GUI Backups OK on both C: & D: drives.
Scheduled backups C: drive OK.............backups directories,
subdirectories and files.
" D: drive...................ONLY
backups top level directories...NO subdirectories or files !
Am I right in assuming include/exclude in dsm.opt files apply to both GUI
& Scheduled backups ?
I have tried running ITSM Schedulers under different powerful accounts
making sure the accounts
have full access to C: and D: drives ...stopping & starting the services
after each account change.
SYSTEM has full access to both C: & F: drives......so does
EVERYONE.........
The permissions on C: and D: drive are identical !
Have these messages in the dsmerror.log have any bearing ?
"09-09-2004 11:37:56 gtUpdateGroupAttr() server error 4 on update SYSTEM
STATE\SYSFILES
09-09-2004 11:37:57 ANS1304W Active object not found"
TSM Server for Windows 5.2.2.0 - OS Windows Server 2003
TSM Client Backup/Archive 5.2.2.0 - OS Windows Server 2003
