You can not possibly do a "checkin libvolume" to a manual library. Is it
an autoloader? What is your library make and model number?

Run "q option" command from dsmadmc admin command line or admin GUI and
copy/paste the output in your reply.

server platform = solaris 8
library type = default ie manual
TSM version = version 5, RElease 1

output of q option ... I did not understand what I have to do.

when I was trying to add new cartridges I got the following error for
label
libvolume and checkin libvolume

ANR1434W No files have been identified for automatically
                       storing device configuration information.

I saw in the err messages pdf of IBM but unable to know what I have to
do correctly.
