TDP for Oracle

Currently we are trying to upgrade old TSM server 4.2 to 5.2.3 (also aix
4.3.3 to 5.2). we need to backup oracle using TDP for oracle 2.2.1 after the
5.2.3 upgrade for couple of days and the tdp for oracle will be upgraded to
the latest version. My question is can we backup tdp for oracle 2.2.1 to TSM
server 5.2.3?  has anyone done this and also get a successful
backup/restore?
