Hi,

I found the right booting parameters of SDG:

boot device : ibmEmac
unit number : 0
processor number : 0
host name : host
file name : //ffs/vxWorks.st
inet on ethernet (e) : 192.168.1.165
host inet (h) : 192.168.1.128
flags (f) : 0x8
target name (tn) :
startup script (s) : /ffs/sna.rc

But I have another problem with this. After the booting, I get the following
error on the HyperTerminal window. Have anybody seen something similar?

Hi György!
Do you know the command to display these parameters? Or maybe, do you know
the file which contains these parameters? I can then look for you.
Kindest regards,

Eric,

Thanks for your answer.
You can manage the SDG through the service port (serial port) by e.g.
HyperTerminal. While the SDG is starting you have a chance to stop the
procedure by pressing a key. Here, you get a prompt (after this point, the
OS image should begin to boot), where you can use a limited number of
commands. And you can define e.g. the image to boot (boot device, boot file,
etc.). These boot parameters have been overwritten.
(I managed to guess some kind of parameters, and the SDG was booted.
However, I don't know whether they are right.)
Can you see these parameters?

Regards,
Gyorgy Hegedus

Hi György!
I'm using a SAN Data Gateway, but I don't know what you mean by 'boot
parameters'. If you explain, I will let you know mine.

I need help about SAN Data Gateway (in LTO 3583).
Accidentally the boot parameters were overwritten through the service port.
Can anybody tell what should be the boot parameters of SDG?

Thanks in advance.
