Hmm, a loaded question with 100s of tape vendors claiming
cheap/fast/good drives. 

        I'm sure there are lots of cheap ones, however we don't buy
cheap, we buy for the long-term.

        Currently the "cheapest" drives we use are LTO2 drives.
