You can actually mix lto media and drives without partitioning the
library at 5.2. We have roughly 1/2 & 1/2 LTO1 and LTO2 media, with 12
LTO1 and 12 LTO2 drives all in the same 3584. We also have two servers
acting as library client/manager pairs to each other and utilise storage
pools of both device classes remotely as well as locally.

We have 2 device classes defined, each with a mount limit of 12, where
you have to be carefull is that you don't specify a FORMAT of 'drive',
rather you have to specify ultrium/ultriumc or ultrium2/ultrium2c.
