Then you don't need multiple scheduler services or nodes. Just define the
associations of all the schedules against the nodename and let TSM handle
the scheduling. Just make sure that the first schedule has time to complete
before you schedule the next one. The 2nd schedule will just wait until the
first one is done, and if that wait time exceeds the DURATION of the
schedule you will get a MISSED for that event. So make sure that the 2nd
schedule has a long enough DURATION that you don't see misses if the 1st
schedule runs a little longer.

I want to run these multiple backup via different schedules not at the
same time.

Thanks,

What kind of "multiple backups" are you looking to run? A regular
backup/archive client backup and a TDP backup at the same time? The
node
has to be able to handle the multiple backups, plus have resources
available
on the TSM server.

Since the TSM server will only run 1 schedule at a time on a node, you
would
either have to install another scheduler service under a different
nodename
and dsm.opt file, or you could put all your commands in a script file
and
then schedule the script file. You could run them with the START
command and
not wait on completion. You would lose return code checking and would
need
to code that into your script(s).

I am looking for information on running multiple backups on the same
node. This is a windows 2003 machine. Has anyone seen documentation
to
support this or can it even be done?

Thanks,
