check if "backint -p initB01.ult -f inquire" works.
If that works, the the utl-file should be fine.
Then the problem can be in initB01.sap. In there you should have an entry like
"util_par_file = /oracle/B01/920_64/dbs/initB01.utl"

Hi All,

I've installed TDP for ERP on AIX 5.1 (2 SAP servers) and on both servers I
run into the same problem when I try to specify the Parameter file within
SAPDBA.

When I enter the filename initB01.utl, SAPDBA keep comming up with the
following message:

SAPDBA: Error in brbackup profile/
          expected '=', but read 'B01___'

On the other server it gives me the exact same error but then for Oracle
SID L02.

I'm starting the sapdba from the b01adm (or l02adm) account on the server
in question.

Has anyone got a clue to what is going wrong or did I miss out something
during the configuration?

Regards,

Richard.
