Hi,

Sorry to repeat the message but havn't anyone done a Backupset to a
tapevolume or isn't it possible?

I have encountered a problem when I try to generate backupset to one single
DLT drive in a manual Library.
I have no problem with generating backupset to file for use with CD burners
etc.

My setup for the DLT 20/40 drive:
TSM Server WINDOWS 32 Version 5, Release 2, Level 1.2

1. Library
DEFine LIBRary MANLIB_DLT20 LIBType=MANUAL

2. Devclass
define DEVClass DLT20 library=MANLIB_DLT20 devtype=DLT format=DLT20
mountret=60 mountwait=60 estcap=20G mountlim=1

3. Drive
define DRive MANLIB_DLT20 DLT20_D1

4 Path
define path TSM01 DLT20_D1 srctype=server desttype=drive
library=MANLIB_DLT20 device=mt5.0.0.5

After setup I have labeled the volume using (I'm embarrased to admit) the
MMC TSM Management Console
and I noticed the volume was really labeled in the drive

Well and now to the exciting moment when I'm trying to make the backupset,
I issued this command:

GENerate BACKUPSET SERVER01 BACKSET0001 DEVclass=DLT20

No complains and the process started but it finished immediately and I
found this message in the actlog:

2004-02-19 08:58:27 ANR3512E GENERATE BACKUPSET: Error encountered in
                      accessing data storage - insufficient number of mount
                      points available for removable media.

I have no idea why I get this message and I can't find anything in the TSM
Admin Guide or Reference these
are more oriented to make Backupset on CD:s and File

Any idea?

Med vänlig hälsning
Best regards
