This is a new Veritas server that will share the ATL with TSM and the
mainframe.

Are you running CA-1 on the MVS z/OS !
I usually have this scenario when I physically load new tapes but
haven't labeled/checked-in the tape to the TSM AIX server.
It will keep doing this until they are "owned" by the AIX system.
Is this a new non-mainframe TSM server you are trying to setup that will
share a library/ATL ?
Need more information !

Subject: Category for Veritas tapes
I'm trying to define a new category on my TSM Server/Library Manager.
The tapes are used for Veritas and when checked in, still remain in FF00
status. This generates a lot of messages on the mainframe console as it
thinks the tapes need to be checked in.
Does anyone have a command I can use to create a category to move my
tapes into to stop the generated message on the mainframe console?
Thanks,
Pattie
