Ken,

Assuming you have adequate free disk online, you should be able to use a
devclass where devtype=FILE.

I'd recommend setting up a devclass for the desired target directory and an
appropriate MAXCAPacity. (Default for MAXCAP is 4 MB.) Assuming that
you're doing an export of node data, you (probably) don't want to be
dealing with gobs and gobs of volumes.

I have read over the TSM Admin. Reference manual on all the different
kinds of EXPORTS.

I know that you can EXPORT to DLT tapes and DEVclass=SERVER.

Question:
Is it possible to EXPORT to a disk file? (ie., E:\export\exportnode.txt)

I thought it was possible, except the DEVCLASS parameter cannot be = DISK.

What am I missing?
