Bill,

We do not back up the log.nsf files either because they are non-critical to the
recovery of Lotus Domino. This file is often recreated during maintenance and 
that file will become either log1.nsf, log2.nsf, etc and placed in the mail2 
folder 
under subfolder logs. It will be considered a redundant backup file.
