That is some good information.

We got around the problem as far as the BSOD with the stop 7b "inaccessible
boot device" message goes.

If we used Ntbackup, the problem went away. If we used TSM, the problem
occurred. It appears there is some registry setting that gets restored
using TSM that doesn't using ntbackup, or vice versa.

We submitted a copy of the registry pre system state restore and post system
state restore to see if MS could see what key or keys it might be.

Hi Matt!

For a week ago you got a blue screen when you restore your backup to a new
hardware.

Here is a link on Microsoft homepage who can help you.

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;811090

But this helps you only if you go from Compaq -> Compaq or Dell -> Dell. If
you got from Dell -> HP then is it not going to help you.

But I got some good news.
We have maybe found a way to go from one manufactory to another manufactory.
So to the TSM Seminarium in Oxford do we maybe a solution for your problem.

Best Regard / Med vänlig hälsning
