Matt,

A "format error" normally means that a backlevel
"client" is trying to access data backed up
from a later level of the "client".
A client here can be an "API client".
It looks like you backleveled the TSM API version...
... or you connected with a later version of the
API from another machine using the same NODENAME.

Try upgrading the TSM API level on that machine.
Also... you should consider moving to DP for SQL 5.1.5.
BTW... the 5.2.1 version will be ready very soon.
