Hi Geetha,
TSM scheduler on linux should be started as a service, and the better
way to achieve this is to build a little script that would be placed in
the inittab, so that when the system boots the service is started. I
attached the script we're using to this mail, feel free to use it !
If you insist starting the scheduler manually you could consider the use
of "at" command.
This way you can start scheduler in a different process that would'nt be
killed when the initiating process is killed.
Command would look like : "echo /path_to/dsmc sch -RunAsService >
/dev/null 2>&1" | at now

I have installed TSm client in Redhat linux 8.If I am taking backup
manually evrything goes on well.But I want to schedule and backup
