You leave us at a disadvantage in not knowing your basis for believing that the
files should evaporate.  Expiration only deletes files according to age rules:
deletion by versions rules occurs at Backup time.  Review the material in the
Admin Guide relative to your policies, as you are likely seeing the inevitable
Active and Inactive files retained by virtue of persistence on the client.
