You scared me. I just tried and it works OK for me. I upgraded maybe two weeks 
ago, but I didn't try console mode. When I saw this message I got scared, tried 
, and it worked.

Is it just my TSM server, or does dsmadmc  -consolemode not work in TSM
5.1.7?
dsmadmc -mountmode seems to work fine.
AIX 4.3.3 ML9
TSM server 5.1.7.0
TSM client 5.1.0.0 and 5.2.0.0

It works on my Windows TSM 5.2.0.0 server...
