I am doing it via a unc path spec but 5.1.6.0 and all previous versions that
I used have worked. It's just 5.2.0.1 that is failing. I reverted back to
5.1.6.0 as a workaround...

Are you mapping a drive to a network share or are you just installing the
UNC Path? I did a silent install for 5.1.1 and it would not work at all if I
just did the UNC path. If I would map a drive to the network share it would
install from the console but not from terminal services. So I wrote a cmd
file that copied the install files to a temporary directory on the local
machine and it would install from anywhere. If you want a copy of the batch
file I can post it or send it individually.

Subject: Silent Windows install

Is anyone doing silent installs of the new 4.2.0.1 client on Windows2000
platforms? I'm getting a Internal Error 2711. BackupArchiveGUI when I try.
Also the readme.txt seems to be missing the section that usually contains
instructions for doing a silent install. They say there are two new client
options, open file and online image backup but don't say how to include it
in a silent install. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same
thing....

Thanks,
Mark
