Thanks for the reply Del, but what I really was hoping for is that tivoli
had plans for SPS. TSM may get put by the wayside due to the fact that
Veritas has a module for SPS and the people pushing this are the exact ones
who make the decisions. I explained to them the exact same scenario, use
MSDMBACK and backup that file. Politics are driving this one, I just happen
to like TSM and would like to see it stay. One product one solution
philosophy so to speak, it must cover all apps. Thanks.

It describes how to back up the server using a utility
shipped with SharePoint Portal Server called MSDMBACK.
