Yes,

we are running TSM Server Version 5, Release 1, Level 6.2 on AIX 5.2.0.0
in an test environment attached to an 3493 Tape-Robot(3590E drives).
It is running well. So far no problems.

I have it installed in a test environment. I haven't had any problems there.
The 5.2 server is supported on AIX 5.2 however. Checkout
