NDMP Backups using TSM

Hi,

We are currently using NFS based backups for backing up our neap filers.
I am wondering if NDMP Backups with TSM now allow us to do file/directory
level restores.
Also is 3-way NDMP backups possible with TSM ?

IS NDMP backups for TSM using the same backup software [TSM 5.1.6.2 etc]
with just additional license for NDMP
 or do we need any additional products TDP etc.
