Everyone,

We're on TSM server for Solaris 5.1.5.1 and have our database volumes on
Clariion disk as a raw volume. Is there a TSM limitation to the number of
characters in the naming convention? For example, we have a db volume on
/dev/rdsk/c1t60020F20000065A83E567A1F000CE26Ad0s0 which totals 49 characters
including the slashes. The help under 'define dbvol' doesn't say how long
the volume name can be.

Mr. Raibeck, do you have any ideas?

Thanks,
Brian
