To add little to Wanda's posting:
You should see it working, not just because you invoked a backup, but
because you invoked a backup after a file of significant size had
experienced a change.
The IBM site has an execellent Flash-based product demonstration which
includes "Mobile Backups" (Adaptive Sub-file): see

(This is a good animation for introducing site personnel and users to
TSM in general.)
