It is my understanding that version 5.2 will have support for backing up
open files....

Hello all,
 I was wondering if Tivoli can actually backup an open file (such as a
system log file)? I have 9 Win2K servers running various versions of the TSM
Client that will have a status of 'Failed' because of two or three log
files. Is there something I'm missing or is this normal.

BTW, the server is AIX 4.3.3 running TSM 4.2 and the clients again are Win2k
servers with either 4.x or 5.x versions of the client.
