Actually, that is not quite correct. There was a B-Model change without
converting to E1As that allowed you to use the K tapes. I doubt it is still
available.

You will also need to have Feature 5781 (extended media support), installed
on your upgraded B1A -> E1A drives. They replace several internal parts to
allow for the longer tape, and velocity changes. A 2X drive will have green
parts instead of blue. :-)
If you have a 3494, I noticed a feature 9780, which also must be installed,
so that the library manager knows about the 'K' label on the tapes.
