You didn't have enough space available in the /usr filesystem. The install
with SMITTY will expand the filesystem as part of the install, but the
scripts that allocate and format the *.DSM files will not expand the
filesystem. Make sure you have enough space before you run SMITTY INSTALL.
If you need it created with the initial db/log/data volumes, then uninstall,
expand /usr, and re-install.

I just installed 5.1.5 and upgraded to 5.1.6 on an AIX system.

AIX 5.1 ML3

For some reason the dsmserv.dsk file did not get installed.

Has anyone else seen this before, and what can I do to prevent
it from happening again?
