We are in the process of implementing TDP for Mail (Lotus Domino), which is on a W2K client.  TSM server is OS/390 MVS 2.10.  This client already has the backup client installed so we installed the 5.1.5 TDP client & API.  I created a separate Domain just for the TDP and registered it's own node and management class etc.  Everything seem to go OK until I scheduled a selective backup test from the server schedule.  It is as follows;
DOM_SELECT_WKLY - Properties
----------------------------
Policy domain                  : MGE_DOMINO
Schedule name                  : DOM_SELECT_WKLY

It looks ok on the server actlog but the schedlog on the client displays it fails with a return code=1 and to check the dsierror.log.  There is no message there at all.  Looking at the NT event log the following message displays;

Error initializing TSM Api, unable to verify registry password, see dsierror.log.

And of course the is no message in the dsierror.log.  We tried reinstalling the TDP scheduler and the message;
Password authentication successful.
The registry password for TSM node Notes_TDP has been updated.  The service was successfully started.

But the exact same problem happened when we tried to schedule another backup.   Also, the Admin events does not show a word about the schedule DOM_SELECT_WKLY.  I do think it is safe to assume the server sent the command to the client successfully.  The Notes administrator used the exact same command manually on his machine and the backup was successful then.  So somewhere in between there is a problem.  I looked on the list, in 'Monthly Faqs' and did a search at the IBM support site with no results.  Has anyone else run into this problem or could steer me in the direction of where I may find the solution?  I would appreciate any possible help.  I did not personally install the Api  but I was assured by the client that the install was successful.   Is there something he could have missed without realizing it?   Is there anyone out there who uses the 5.1.5 TDP for Lotus Domino with success?  Will appreciate any suggestions.

Thank you,
Shannon
