What if there are still files in the old copy pool?

Ah, another wonderfull week in Northern Mahwah!

All you will need is the one copy pool, providing it is indeed complete.

You will need (after restoring your TSM database) to update all the tapes
that were on-site as 'unavailable' or 'destroyed' before starting restores,
so that TSM will use the copy pool tapes. And THEY will need to be updated
to readonly or readwrite before starting (I tend to use readonly).

And remember -- (mis-quoting an old software engineering book) "a test with
no errors or problems is a failed test".

The end of June I will be going for my next DR Test in Sterling Forest
(another fun week)!
Right now I'm in the middle of moving my C1 systems (systems to be
recovered in Stirling Forest) to there own collected offsite copy pool. I
doubt the files in my old DRMPOOL will be expired then. Will I still need
to take both copy pools of tapes?

Thanks,
