diskpool - max threshold

I have a 3494 library and I was looking into a DB2 backup problem when I 
noticed that our diskpool is not set up with a "max threshold" value at all. 
This is the way it was set up when we first got TSM, 3 years ago. Should I set 
this field or leave it?
