Question from my Lotus Notes Engineer:

"I came back in this evening around 9:45 PM and found a DOS window on the
console of the Domino the server. It was blank. It appears this was Domdsmc
running (I had logging going and saw the .exe that was closed). Is this
normal behavior? What's going on?"

Does anybody know why the backup for Domino would start up a dos Window like
this.  This is new behavior.

The Node info is:
OS: NT 4/SP 6a
Domino: 5.0.12
TSM Client Version 4, Release 2, Level 1.0

TSM Server info is:  TSM 4.2.3.3 running on AIX 4.3.3 ML10.

We have ruled out domdsmc being started by a human, or by an admin schedule
in Windows.  So, seems the last answer is the schedule backup of the box.
