I have one TSM server with 62 db volumes on it. So, there is not limit...

Subject: Limitation of TSM DB Volumes

Hi, All,

Recently we expand our disks used for TSM DB because of the DB growing, and
I'm going to increase DB volume number to 20 from 7 currently. I knew
creating multiple DB volume will help performance because of LvmDiskServer
thread will run on each DB volume. But I also heard that the number DB
Volume is restricted to 12, can anybody confirm me are there really some
limit about number of DB volumes I could use (And if yes, what's the limit)
?

I'm running TSM 5.1.6.2 / AIX 5.1 .

Thanks,
Fred
