Re: TSM server Start up script for Solaris

"dsmc sched" is the correct utility and in Solaris you can put it in the
same file: "/etc/inittab" but just keep in mind that your inittab
identifier can only be a maximum of two characters so for Solaris the
following would be correct:
ts::/usr/bin/dsmc sched > /dev/null 2>1& #TSM Scheduler
and then AIX:
tsm::/usr/bin/dsmc sched > /dev/null 2>1& #TSM Scheduler
Hope this helps thanks!.

Hi All,
Does anyone know how and where to put the tsm server
start up script for Solaris?
I'm used with AIX which is in /etc/inittab with the
statement below:
tsm::once:/usr/lpp/adsm/bin/dsm sched > /dev/null 2>&1
# TSM scheduler
Hope for a prompt reply.
Thanks and regards
Ameerul
