No, there is no facility to back up ACLs separately from the data.
You can read about this and related issues in the client manual, in the
chapter on "Backing up files and directories", section "Full and partial
incremental backup".

Hi all,
We have some trouble with our W2K servers backup on TSM. There are a lot
of
new versions backed-up although only the acl's have changed while the file
content is the same as before. .
My question : is there a possibility to store the acl's separate from the
file-content ? (I heard from microsoft, that some backup-tool can handle
it).
