Hi TSMers

TSM 4.2.2.12 running on a Solaris 2.7 server

I have a problem that I'm not sure how to fix. We have an FTP server with a
/usr/local/ftp dir on it that we have to back up. We don't back up any
other part of the server.

At present we have pretty much default retention settings and as such, when
files are deleted from the server, they still remain in backup for 60 days.
This is too long and I want to lower it to 14 days. I have created a new
backup copy group called RETDEL14 and I want to assign this to the dir in
question. Now, I know how to do this with option sets, but is it the same
principle here?

The way this backup works is that I have just specified the objects and
options in the client schedule itself. So, how can I make this schedule
take on the RETDEL14 settings?

If I have made it all sound confusing, please let me know and I'll try and
clarify things a bit.

All the best
