We use Control/M exclusively to schedule our TSM
backups in our production environments. I'm not a
Contol/M expert, but it seems to work well in our
environment. The only problem I have had is that I
don't get a view of the Control/M jobs in the TSM
activity log. I don't see job statistics for the
"outside" scheduled jobs. I think this is because the
job output is routed to Control/M. This causes
problems if you are using any add on's like TSMManager
or others that rely on information in the activity log
to gather information. There is probably a way to
resolve this though I haven't had time to pursue it
yet.
