Thanks for you reply! We tried changing the TDP node's password on the TSM
server.
Actually, the problem was solved by removing an incorrect inludeexclude
statement from one of the option files.

To 'synchronize' the passwords I used the following TDPD command from the
TDP client:

                 /CONFIGfile="
  /usr/tivoli/tsm/client/domino/bin/domdsmc_notes1/domdsm.cfg"
                 /ADSMPWD="TSM_server_password_for TDPD_client"

To change the TDPD clients password initiated by the TDPD client use the
following TDPD command:

  DOMDSMC CHANGEADSMPwd oldpwd newpwd verifypwd
                         /ADSMOPTFile="
  usr/tivoli/tsm/client/domino/bin/domdsmc_notes1/dsm.opt:"
                 /CONFIGfile="
  /usr/tivoli/tsm/client/domino/bin/domdsmc_notes1/domdsm.cfg"

Hi *SM-ers!
We have installed the TSM 5.1.5 API client on AIX 4.3.3. and we also
installed Data Protection for Lotus Domino 5.1.5.
We ran the dominstall command and now we try to change the TSM password. We
receive the following error:

ACD5412W An error was encountered with Tivoli Storage Manager API
initialization, rc = 400.
Examine the dsierror.log for more information or determine if the TSM API
is
installed properly

The problem is: there is no dsierror.log to be found on this machine.
I have listed all files concerned down below.
