See APAR IC27346 for information on this. You can find it on the IBM web
site, www.ibm.com, by doing a search on the APAR number.

The only dumb question is the one that goes unasked.
The command line is your friend.

4.1.3.0

Hello All,
we are currently running a 4.1.3.0-Client to backup an Window NT
4.0-Server.
Now that our path-name-&-file-name-length has grown,
the sheduler cannot handle it anymore:

ANS4018E Error processing '\\<computername>\g$': file name too long

We cannot alway control what all the users are doing (while Windows
is fine with it) - does anyone know how to resolve this (newer client,
enviroment setting, ...) ?

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards,
Jan-Erik Engels
