Checkin 3590 EHPCT

Hi to all,

I am trying to checkin a cartridge 3590 EHPCT into 3590E1 tape drive inside
3494 Tape Library, and i received the following message:

 ANR8302E I/O error on drive 3590DRV (MT1.0.0.2) (OP=READ,
                       Error Number=23, CC=403, KEY=08, ASC=14, ASCQ=01,

Is the tape destroyed and cannot be used any more?
